Biography: Back-story - - Spoiler:
Born into Destiny Islands, Kaminari never had a wonderful life, but an average life instead. At the age of six, he found a paopu fruit, to which he named the 'Star of Kibou' for unknown reasons. Having tried to give it to a woman because he was hopeful the rumors were true, he always was pushed aside and never cared for by any of them. Then one day a mysterious woman appears, offering him the chance of a lifetime, if he came over one night to the beach and gave it to her under the full moon. Foolishly going there, he was beaten up by her gang of goons, and was then questioned with a proposal. Once he was old enough to date, he would go out with her and in return, he would be offered a chance to hand over the star to her and also the chances of making out with her. However, due to Kaminari's heart being of light, refused and was left to starve. Upon being found, Kaminari's mother, Larla Kuigi, went into a rampage at his father, John Kuigi. This would lead to a number of arguments that lasted for two years, until Kaminari was eight, when Larla Kuigi left the home due to her needing some time to think over if she made the right choice to marry John or not.
John was then left to try to raise the two children on his own, but sadly could not find a way to do it. So, he left the elder child in charge, whilst John went to work. By the age of ten, John was frequently out now in the secret search for Larla, having known their love would bring them back, and travelled around the decreasing universe to find her. This left the elder brother in charge more often, taking him out of childhood early and forcing him to try to act like an adult more. One day however, the elder brother is too stressed out to play with Kaminari as they walk that night along the beach, and Kaminari gets into an argument with his brother. The two soon fight over the Star of Kibou, and the elder brother mysteriously vanished from that night. Kaminari has never told a soul what happened to his elder brother, nor why it happened. After this, Kaminari was left alone to take care of himself for a grueling eight years, becoming a ladies man to hide the pain he now felt returning and wondering just why the Star of Kibou had to be involved in his life.
